This weekend's NASCAR races are in Talladega, so I've decided to have today's eBay find have a bit of a NASCAR connection.

Unfortunately, there are no Torino Talladegas on eBay right now, so I've gone with something different, this low mileage !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

The Z34 was the high-performance version of the Chevrolet Lumina coupe, using the same powertrain as the Lumina Euro 3.4 sedan.

Under the hood is a 3.4L LQ1 V6 putting out 210 hp. That number is reduced to 200 for automatic models, but you don't have to worry about that here, because this one has the Getrag 284 5-speed stick connected to the engine.

It's in pretty good shape, a little sun fade on some interior parts and some minor indentations on some body work, but other than that it looks practically new, and the odometer reads only 17,752.

If you're looking for a rare car, this might not be the car you're looking for, as the 1992 model year had the highest Z34 production number of the car's 4 years of production, with 38,067 built.

Still, the performance specs should be pretty impressive for a car of this vintage.

0-60 in 7.5 seconds, 1/4 mile in 15.8 @ 89.1 mph, and lateral acceleration of 0.79 g.

The Lumina had a connection with NASCAR in the early 90's, actually being introduced to the circuit over a year before the public could buy one, and this top spec Z34 coupe was the closest you could get to a street legal one.

Now, it's time for you to decide...Nice Price or Crack Pipe?

CP. Too many nicer newer cars at that price, and not really notable enough to command a premium for rarity. It's still just a Lumina coupe after all.

Nice. Very nice. Used to have a Lumina and it hauled like a freight train. I was wanting to buy another LeSabre when mine shat out, but 210hp in a car this light is pretty damn tempting, and they don't look half bad, either. The fact they're available with a manual (I honestly didn't know that) is pretty awesome. Only downside is the FWD-ness, which isn't a downside to me that much.

Nice car but I'm sure I could find something I'd want much more for much less.

We've seen driver/beater quality LQ1/5-speed cars go for less than $5,000 so it's hard to really justify the 300% price jump.

Curious about the driving experience? The engines sound great and pull strong. they have a truly unique sound. Handling is okay with plenty of understeer but it's a very tight and responsive chassis. The Getrag box is again, just satisfactory. Both the ones I've driven had bad 2nd gear syncros but they can be really shifted if you want to. Engine access and maintenance is as bad as everyone says it is and these cars are not monetarily worth enough to restore. A great oddball '90's car and if someone can get it for 5-7k, it's a good deal.

As much as I'd love to have a Getrag-equipped Z34, this is in CP territory. At this stage, no Lumina is worth that kind of scratch

This looks good but the price is off the wall even if 18000 is the real mileage If you do a Kelley Blue book you will find a t best $ 3,000 for this car
